Our roast as it emerged from the oven four hours later....or so

  • Erik and Mom work at pie making.
  • Doing the little fiddly bits around the edges of the crust while Jan preps the filling of pie number two that will be a rustic pie with added raisins and cranberries.
  • Erik's first masterpiece!
  • It's fun to be messy! The Baxendell's wonderful Italian dinner in a colander is on the corner of the island. We have plans....
  • The best part of pies are the pie crust cookies! (or pie-crackers).

  • Erik works on luminaria - that's Latin as in "lumin" meaning light and "aria" meaning brown paper bag.
