2012 Yosemite Ride TripCalifornialandscapes

  • Near Horsethief Meadows we saw this great cloud rising over the hills to the east.
  • A run of classic Mercedes passed us. I think these are 190SL's. Everyone waved and liked being photographed.
  • Wild fire burning in Nevada just east of US 395. Called the Carter Springs Fire in Douglas County, NV, the fire briefly closed US 395 because of blowing smoke.
  • Monitor Pass looking to Antelope Valley

  • Eastward descent of Monitor Pass with Slinkard Wildlife Area on the right and beyond it the Little Antelope Wildlife Area.
